A national Campaign to bring computers to all schools in Ghana
ABOUT US
All students in Ghana can obtain 21st century skills. Information technology is fundamentally changing the world and the job market and will be a key factor for the development in the ECOWAS region, and the country of Ghana.
That is why students, parents, and many professionals in the educational sector are calling for a learning transformation. Students should be prepared for the job market of the 21st century, which requires skills like creativity, independent thinking, team work and cross cultural communication.
Maxim Nyansa IT Solutions has the mission to achieve a learning transformation in Ghana. This NGO by Ghanaian law is executing the campaign in close collaboration with schools, traditional councils, businesses and other sponsors all over Ghana.
HARDWARE CAMPAIGN
Maxim Nyansa IT Solutions Foundation calls on all individuals, businesses, churches, government organizations and others to commit to donating their end of life cycle hardware to Computer4schools campaign. This campaign will start in Accra and will be extended to other parts of Ghana in the following years . Hardware will be donated to schools taking part in a three year integrated learning transformation program supported by their local community. OUR SCHOOLS
Schools interested to be part of the Computer4schools Ghana campaign can contact the campaign office. In the past, many projects have been carried out to introduce ICT in Ghanaian schools, but not all of those were successful. In order to be eligible for our hardware donations, we expect schools to take part in a three year learning transformation program. Both schools and the local community are asked to financially contribute.
The program is tailor made for your local situation and will always be started by a quick scan. A Memorandum of Understanding will be signed with the main local stakeholders who are ready to actively support the program and ensure its long term sustainability.
